My Birthday Life List – Bring on the Yellows!

“All that we are is the result of what we have thought.  The mind is everything.  What you think, you become.” – Prince Siddharta Gautama Buddha

Today is my birthday and I look forward for more years to celebrate.  More years to fill with love.  More years of hard work and fun.  More years of explorations and adventures.   More years to be with the people I cherish.  More years of fulfilling my dreams.  More years of ‘becoming what I think’.

In celebration of my birthday, my most recent dream realizations and a conscious effort to ‘become what I think’, I thought of putting my heart on an inspiration list – my life list.  I shall update my list when needed and cross out items (and buy myself a yellow shirt =P)  as I accomplish an item to boost my self-encouragement.  Here’s my ambitious but workable life list in no particular order:

  1. Procreate.  Gave birth to a beautiful and healthy baby girl last year and she’s turning one next month! 🙂
  2. Build our dream home.
  3. See a Jason Mraz concert.  Find a means to have a ‘Jason Mraz and me’ photograph that I could display in our dream home. =p
  4. Trek to Machu Pichu.
  5. Skydive.
  6. Ride on a hot air balloon in Cappadocia.
  7. Attend a Brazilian Carnival.
  8. Become financially literate.  Yes! 🙂

  10. Explore cities in Spain, Portugal, Czech Republic and Sweden.
  11. See the original Legoland in Denmark.
  12. Learn how to swim.
  13. Scuba dive on my own.  (I have tried scuba diving in Bali even though I did not know how to swim and dive.  Strange?  I had a good Balinese scuba diver cum sea tour guide with me. 🙂
  14. Explore Dubai and Ferrari world in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
  15. Learn how to play the violin.
  16. Play Jason Mraz songs in violin.
